COMMUNITY BANKING SUPERVISORS

We have current openings for Community Banking Supervisors in Riverside. This is a prime-time position, working on-site generally between 35-38 hours per week.

The Community Banking Supervisor is responsible for maintaining superior level of customer service within the retail banking center. Will assist in the control of bank assets, and oversee operational functions of the Center. Will coordinate on the training of staff members, and provide motivation in successful cross-selling and telemarketing techniques. Will report any problem areas to the Branch Service/Operations Manager and Community Banking Manager.

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:

  • Ensures that superior customer service is the standard within the Retail Banking Center; organizes and supervises staff members to meet this standard.
  • Assists the Branch Service/Operations Manager in performing the Branch Control Review (BCR) and self-assessments to ensure that all policies and procedures are adhered to and the branch is in compliance with all necessary regulatory requirements.
  • Maintains a high level of proficiency in all types of banking operations and new accounts, and is responsible for the motivation of staff members in the successful achievement of sales goals and superior customer service.
  • Meets or exceeds established goals and objectives set forth for this position, and will know, understand, and be knowledgeable with sales goals and expectations and be able to report results to management proficiently.
  • Works on the teller line or platform to process transactions and open accounts as needed.

Required Education and/or Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous entry-level supervisory experience or completion of supervisory training.
  • Minimum of three years' experience in working in a retail banking branch with progressively higher responsibilities.
