What We're Looking For:
We are looking for a Data Marketing Engineer Intern to join our team and help bridge the gap between data engineering and marketing analytics. This role will involve working with marketing and data teams to collect, process, and analyze data, automate workflows, and develop data pipelines that improve marketing decision-making. The intern will gain hands-on experience in data integration, analytics, and marketing technology (MarTech).
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in automating marketing data workflows and integrating data sources into cloud-based platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Snowflake)
Assist in measuring campaign performance, customer engagement, and ROI using key metrics.
Analyze large datasets to uncover customer insights and campaign performance metrics.
Collaborate with marketing teams to improve audience segmentation and personalized marketing efforts.
Assist in A/B testing, attribution modeling, and predictive analytics for marketing optimization.
Work with APIs to extract, clean, and structure marketing data for analysis and reporting
Stay updated on data engineering best practices and emerging MarTech trends.
Generate reports and dashboards to track trends, customer behavior, and marketing effectiveness.
Support the implementation and optimization of marketing analytics tools and dashboards
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new opportunities.
Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to enhance customer segmentation and targeting efforts.
Assist in creating data visualizations and presentations for stakeholders.
Develop and maintain ETL pipelines to collect and transform marketing data from various platforms (Google Analytics, CRM, social media, etc.).
Stay up to date with industry trends, digital marketing best practices, and emerging data analysis techniques.
Who You Are:
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Marketing Analytics, or a related field.
Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, or R for data processing and analysis.
Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or Google Data Studio).
Familiarity with APIs and tools like Google Analytics, HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar marketing platforms.
Knowledge of cloud-based data services (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) is a plus.
Understanding of data warehousing concepts and relational databases.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret data for business insights.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate across teams.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to present findings clearly.Self-motivated, eager to learn, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
