The general duties and responsibilities of this role include providing support to City staff and assistance to guests during special events.
Generally, this will include setting up and breaking down for events, providing technical support for presentations, operating presentation equipment, performing limited custodial work during events, and responding to questions or requests for service from guests.Position Functions:
· Provide kitchen support to Lead Cook and/or Chef
o Prepare foods and beverages according to instructions and follow safe food handling policies and procedures
o Portion and plate food
o Restock food inventory, equipment, and supplies
o Perform routine cleaning and sanitizing in the kitchens
· Provide support at Food and Beverage Events
o Perform event set up (setting placements, table setup, etc.)
o Sell concessions and operate the point of sale device to take cash and credit transactions
o Buss and wipe down tables, counters, empty trash, etc. during events
o Perform event clean up after events (wash dishes, clean equipment, put cleaned items away, etc.)
Qualifications:
· Possess or obtain active Food Handlers Card in good standing by the hire date
· Possess or obtain active OLCC Pourers Card in good standing if requested.
