Under the direction of the Supervisor I, the analyst performs work using a wide range of established and developed analytical skills and program knowledge to perform policy related functions and activities, such as but not limited to legislative, regulatory and policy analysis, development, implementation and evaluation. The analyst analyzes legislation, drafts regulatory language and evaluates programmatic impacts.
Applicants with knowledge of CCLD licensing laws, regulations and procedures, background check case management system, Licensing Information System (LIS), and the ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and other common software programs are highly desirable and will be given priority consideration. The Care Provider Management Branch exercises a hybrid work schedule as determined by the Department of Social Services. The CPMB is in Rancho Cordova with free parking on-site. Many restaurants including Starbucks, Sandwich Spot and Subway are located within one mile of the office.
This position is eligible for hybrid work in accordance with the Governor’s and at the sole discretion of the Department of Social Services under California Government Code Section 14200. All telework schedules are subject to change and may be re-evaluated at any time. The incumbent will be expected to report for in office work and attend work related in-person events as deemed operationally necessary. Telework does not change the terms and conditions of employment, the essential functions of job duties, or required compliance with the CDSS policies.
