Job Summary

Durall System India Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead and manage production operations in the façade and glass systems division. The role involves planning, coordinating, and controlling manufacturing processes to ensure timely delivery, high quality, cost efficiency, and adherence to safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Production Planning & Control

1. Plan and organize daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules.
2. Ensure timely execution of façade/glass fabrication as per project requirements.
3. Monitor production targets, output, and efficiency.

Manufacturing Operations

1. Oversee fabrication of aluminium façades, curtain walls, glazing, doors, windows, and related systems.
2. Ensure proper utilization of manpower, machines, and materials.
3. Coordinate with design, project, and procurement teams for smooth operations.

Quality Assurance

1. Ensure products meet company and project quality standards.
2. Implement quality control checks at various production stages.
3. Reduce rework, wastage, and defects.

Team Management

1. Lead, supervise, and motivate production supervisors, engineers, and shop-floor workers.
2. Allocate work responsibilities and ensure discipline on the shop floor.
3. Conduct performance reviews and provide training where required.

Material & Inventory Control

1. Coordinate with stores and procurement for raw material availability.
2. Control material consumption and minimize wastage.
3. Maintain production-related documentation and records.

Safety & Compliance

1. Ensure adherence to safety norms and company policies.
2. Implement safe working practices and conduct regular safety briefings.
3. Maintain compliance with statutory and internal standards.

Coordination & Reporting

1. Coordinate with project managers for delivery schedules.
2. Prepare daily and monthly production reports.
3. Report production performance and challenges to senior management.

Required Skills & Competencies

1. Strong knowledge of façade systems, aluminium fabrication, and glass processing
2. Experience in curtain wall, unitized/semi-unitized façade systems
3. Production planning and manpower management
4. Quality control and process improvement
5. Leadership and decision-making skills
6. ERP / production tracking system knowledge (preferred)

Qualification

1. Diploma / BE / BTech in Mechanical, Civil, or Production Engineering
2. 6+ years of relevant experience in façade or glass industry (mandatory)
