The HT Group has partnered with a Houston-based Wealth Management/Advisory entity in the search for a qualified
Senior FP&A Analyst for an immediate, growth-created opportunity.
In this role, you will partner with firm leadership to drive financial insights, support strategic decision-making, and help scale our finance operations during a period of rapid growth. This role offers high visibility across executive leadership and an opportunity to help shape the future of one of the most dynamic wealth management platforms in the country.
Direct Hire – Remote – Houston – Up to $160K base + bonus DOE
Position Scope:
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Build an annual budget and 5-year financial projection for the firm and assess how different AUM growth scenarios impact EBITDA, cash flow, and reported debt financing metrics.
- M&A / Inorganic Growth Diligence: Support due diligence on an RIA acquisition or team lift-out by modeling expected synergies and financial impact.
- Performance Analysis: Analyze advisor team productivity, profitability, and client asset growth trends to provide actionable insights to Finance Team / Management / Board.
- Revenue & AUM Growth Analysis: Track Company’s revenue streams across various service lines. Analyze client and asset flows to understand trends in growth or attrition. Identify high-value clients, advisors, or regions driving profitability.
- Strategic Growth Analyses: Optimize management and/or advisor compensation structure to align with growth / KPIs. Ad hoc financial modeling to support evaluation of new hires, tuck-in acquisitions, pricing strategy, and tech investments. Calculate client acquisition cost vs. lifetime value to inform business development / marketing ROI.
- Board & Investor Materials: Help prepare Board decks and investor updates. Summarize key financial performance, risks, and opportunities for stakeholders.
Qualifications/Technical Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field with strong knowledge of Finance, Accounting, and Corporate Strategy concepts; MBA or CFA a plus.
- 3–5 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, FP&A, corporate finance or related fields; prior experience in wealth management, asset management, or financial services a plus.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; significant experience with financial modeling and strategic analysis required.
- High familiarity with operating models required.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail; ability to synthesize data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; comfort interacting with senior leadership daily.
